OVC Programmes Manager – Albert Pasipanodya

A multi-skilled and dedicated development professional with over 10 years’ experience in program/project development, implementation management, operations research, monitoring and evaluation Albert Pasipanodya joined JF Kapnek in April 2013. Starting off as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator (M & E) and promoted to the position of Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning Manager in 2019 Albert provided technical and strategic leadership in development as well as implementation of several Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) programming initiatives. The focus being in the areas of disability inclusive Social Protection, Early Childhood Development, (ECD), Child protection, SRHR and HIV.

Prior to joining JF Kapnek, Albert worked for Childline Zimbabwe as the Monitoring and Evaluation officer where he was instrumental in designing and implementing the organization Child Protection case management M&E System. Albert brings in vast experience in inclusive development management, resource mobilization, organizational capacity building and networking with key stakeholders including government and non-government line ministries. With research interests in disability-inclusive social protection, having led and participated in several research evaluation assignments in disability, child protection, and ECD, Albert is passionate about improving health, protection and education, and outcomes for children and adolescents, particularly those with disabilities and their families. His vision is to see the JF Kapnek OVC program being synonymous with the wellbeing of marginalized children and adolescents including children with disabilities.

Albert holds a BSc Honors’ Agricultural Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Science Degree in Development Studies from NUST University.
